Hosting and care solve different problems.
Hosting makes a website available to visitors. A platform such as Framer also provides infrastructure features such as content delivery, certificates and platform updates. Those services are different from reviewing your opening hours, changing a page or checking that an inquiry reaches the right person.
Website Care covers the maintenance work agreed with your provider. A hosting subscription does not automatically mean someone is responsible for every content change or business process connected to the site. Write down the responsibilities instead of assuming they are included.
Keep ownership and access clear.
Know who owns the domain, the website project and any connected forms or applications. Record renewal responsibilities and authorized administrators. A provider can help manage the work without becoming the unexplained owner of the business’s online identity.
Keep billing contacts and recovery methods current. Do not send passwords through a sales form to get a quote. Begin with the website address, platform, owner and the changes you want someone to handle.
Give maintenance a useful scope.
A care agreement should describe the work you can request, the included time and how extra work is approved. It should also explain what happens to unused time and which outside subscriptions are separate. A large redesign and a small content update should not be treated as the same task.
- What maintenance work is included?
- How much time is included and does it roll over?
- Who approves content and publishes changes?
- How are additional work and outside charges approved?
- Who checks forms and their actual delivery destination?
- Who owns domain, platform and application renewals?
Measure the working result, not just the saved change.
A changed page should be checked on the published website and at relevant phone and desktop sizes. A form appearing on a page does not prove that a request reaches its intended recipient. Testing needs to match the change and any connected service.
Useful content should answer a visitor’s question and make the next step clear. Repeated slogans, unsupported promises and pages created only to chase keywords do not make a stronger customer experience. No care service can guarantee a search ranking.
Choose care or a project according to the work.
DeltaBind Website Care includes up to three maintenance hours per website monthly, with no rollover. Additional work requires a separate quote. Hosting, domains, platform subscriptions, paid apps and payment processing are separate charges.
Bring a list of recurring changes and any larger plans for the site. We can explain what fits ongoing care and what needs its own design or implementation scope. Review the Website Care page for current pricing and the agreed next step.
