Start with the work each person needs to do.
Microsoft 365 Business Basic focuses on web and mobile applications with business email and cloud services. Business Standard adds installed desktop applications. Business Premium adds security and management capabilities beyond Standard. Exact inclusions depend on the subscription variant you choose.
Ask whether people need installed Office applications, which devices they use and whether work must continue without a connection. Then consider the account and device controls the business needs. A job title alone is not enough to choose a license.
Compare exact products, not similar names.
Microsoft offers variants with different Teams and Copilot inclusions. A consumer Microsoft 365 subscription is also different from a business subscription. Compare the full product name and included services on the order rather than assuming two similarly named offers are equivalent.
Review existing licenses before adding another subscription. Some people may already have the required entitlement, while shared resources and special applications need their own licensing review. Confirm requirements for the proposed setup instead of assuming everyone needs the most expensive plan.
A license is separate from the work to configure it.
Buying a subscription provides entitlements. Someone still has to configure accounts, approve access, manage changes and check that the intended controls are working. Security features included in a plan do not become a fully managed service simply because the license was assigned.
DeltaBind prices Microsoft licenses separately from Email Care. Email Care adds agreed account administration and Guardz Elite protection for eligible configurations. Migration, larger configuration projects and independent Email Backup have separate scopes.
Read the commitment behind the monthly number.
A monthly price can describe the cost of a subscription with a longer commitment. Billing frequency, renewal timing and cancellation rights are separate details. Compare the total commitment and the services included, rather than treating every monthly figure as a month to month contract.
- Full subscription name, including Teams or Copilot variants
- Number of licensed users and existing entitlements
- Installed application and device requirements
- Who configures, administers and supports the environment
- Commitment, billing frequency, renewal and cancellation
- Separate migration, backup and support charges
Bring a short inventory to a licensing review.
List your current plans, user counts, important applications and planned staff changes. You do not need to send passwords or confidential files to begin. Note the renewal dates and who owns the current subscription relationship.
DeltaBind can review the requirement and explain the proposed licensing and care separately. Our pricing page shows current reference rates; your accepted order confirms the exact subscription, commitment and implementation work.
