Start with the right checks.

A sharp desktop photo can crop poorly on a phone. Image quality and the position of the subject need separate checks.

What to do next.

  1. Find the original image and compare it with the version used on the page.

  2. Check the page at desktop and phone widths. Note whether the problem is blur or the subject being cut off.

  3. For a Framer site, have the editor check the image resolution setting and the frame’s fit and focal position.

  4. Use a larger original or a different crop where necessary. Review the result before publishing the agreed change.

Check the result.

The subject stays visible and the image looks clear at the sizes visitors actually use. Check the live page after publication.

Stop and get help if…

The source image is too small, ownership or usage rights are unclear, or fixing one screen size breaks another. Ask for a suitable replacement or layout adjustment.
