Start with the right checks.

A 404 means the requested page was not found. The correct fix depends on whether the address is wrong, the page is missing or the content moved.

What to do next.

  1. Copy the complete old URL and find the page visitors should reach.

  2. Check whether the destination already exists and is publicly accessible.

  3. For a moved Framer page, ask the administrator to add the old path and relevant new path in Site Settings > Hosting > Redirects.

  4. Review the change, publish it through the authorized workflow, and test the old address directly.

Check the result.

The old link reaches the intended replacement without a loop. Check that buttons and forms on the replacement also make sense.

Stop and get help if…

The destination is unclear, many old URLs are affected or a redirect rule would cover unrelated pages. Plan the mapping before changing a whole folder.
