Start with the right checks.

An account choice screen can appear even when the address looks familiar. The correct option depends on which account owns the files, subscription or organization access.

What to do next.

  1. Identify the service you are opening and who supplied access.

  2. For an organization managed service, use the work or school account directed by its administrator.

  3. For a personal purchase or personal files, check the personal account that owns them.

  4. Keep the exact account choice and error if access still fails. Do not rename or close an account to clear the prompt.

Check the result.

Open the expected service and verify that your files or subscription are present. A successful sign in to an empty account is not the same result.

Stop and get help if…

Ownership is unclear, files appear under another account or a business device is being enrolled. Ask for an account review before making permanent changes.
