Start with the right checks.
A published page is not automatically indexed. Google Search Console can show whether Google knows about the exact URL and why it may be excluded.
What to do next.
Open the intended public URL and confirm the page contains the content you expect.
In Google Search Console for the correct property, check Indexing > Pages and inspect the affected URL.
Ask the site editor to check whether search engine visibility was intentionally disabled, the page redirects or the content duplicates another page.
Correct the specific issue, publish approved changes and request indexing where appropriate. Add a useful internal link from another relevant page.
Check the result.
Check the URL’s updated inspection result later. A submitted indexing request is not confirmation that Google indexed or ranked the page.
Stop and get help if…
Search Console reports a manual action, an unfamiliar canonical URL or a security issue. Preserve the reported details and investigate the cause.
