Email Servers & Client Configuration Print

In order to send and recieve email through a desktop email application, such as Microsoft Outlook, you will need specific information to configure the program. Here are the Manual Settings you need to complete this process.

Recommended Manual Settings: IMAP (Secure)

If you wish to leave the email on your server and manage it from many computers or deives, like gmail, use IMAP settings. Keep in mind, the email does take up your space on your hosting plan.


Username: username@yourdomainname.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.


Incoming Server: camry.websitewelcome.com
Outgoing Server: camry.websitewelcome.com


IMAP Port: 993
SMTP Port: 465

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

 

Alternative Manual Settings POP (Secure)

If you wish to keep your email in one place and delete it from the server, after it has been delivered, use POP3 settings. Keep in mind, the email does take up your space on your hosting plan until it has been delivered to the client.

Secure POP Settings

Username: username@yourdomainname.com
Password: Use the email account’s password

Incoming Server: camry.websitewelcome.com
Outgoing Server: camry.websitewelcome.com

POP3 Port: 995
SMTP Port: 465

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

Non-Secure IMAP Settings
(NOT Recommended)
Username: username@yourdomainname.com
Password: Use the email account’s password

Incoming Server: mail.yourdomainname.com
Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomainname.com

IMAP Port: 143
SMTP Port: 25

 

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

 

Non-Secure POP Settings
(NOT Recommended)

Username: username@yourdomainname.com
Password: Use the email account’s password

Incoming Server: mail.yourdomainname.com
Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomainname.com

POP3 Port: 110
SMTP Port: 25

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.
